We’ve all been there. It’s your first day of a new job, and you’re being introduced to your new team. Or even worse, you’re at a conference with people you’re likely never to see again. And then the facilitator says it…or your new boss says those dreaded words.
”I’d like to go around the room and have everyone introduces themselves and then share a fun fact.”
Then you wait in silent anguish for your turn, pleading with the deity of your choice to please not let you make a fool out of yourself. Well, that’s what this is. Sort of.
Hi. I’m Matt. I’m a writer. And no. You shouldn’t have heard of me. In fact, I’ve barely even heard of me. Why? Because I’m new-ish at it, and I have yet to have anything sold or published.
So why do I have a website/blog? Two reasons:
- It’s a project for school.
- So I can document/share my journey as I attempt to build a career out of my passion.
So if you’d like to follow along as I lay some foundations and try building this thing without blueprints, I’d love to have you along for the ride. Keep your eyes peeled for updates, a bio, descriptions of works-in-progress, and probably some actual fun stuff too.
